Rei (pronounced RAY) meaning “Universal Life” and Ki (pronounced KEY) meaning “life force energy”, is a pleasant and relaxing Japanese healing modality that can help ease stress and tension.  It can safely be performed on everyone, regardless of age or health, as well as pets and animals.

Reiki is often described as palm healing or hands-on-body healing in which a practitioner places hands lightly on or over a patient’s body so the energy can flow through the practitioner as a channel and to another person. It is this flow of energy which facilitates the unique ability of the body to heal itself.

Hypnosis is a heightened state of suggestibility, usually brought about by way of a hypnotic induction. A hypnotized individual may look as if their are asleep, but they are not. During a session, you should feel very nice and relaxed, almost like taking a nap. The big difference is in what you are guided to experience during the trance.

While in hypnosis, people typically hear and remember everything that is said and, in fact, they can easily speak and respond to questions. Upon emerging from the hypnotic state, clients normally feel very refreshed, relaxed, and motivated regarding the changes they are making in their life.
